Dermaplaning is a method of manual exfoliation using a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently remove the skin's top-layer of dead skin together with the fine, vellus hair (peach fuzz). This painless procedure leaves the skin silky smooth and glowing.

​Who Shouldn’t Get A Dermaplaning Facial?

A Dermaplane facial is appropriate for ages 18+ and for most skin types, but if you have deep cystic acne or sensitive skin, you may want to sit this treatment out. If you have acne, wait until breakouts are clear. For sensitive skin, note that 21 days’ worth of dead skin cells will be removed, so skin will be more sensitive post-treatment. It is also worth noting that Dermaplaning is only meant for the face. Importantly, vellus hair WILL NOT grow back thicker and darker!!

 

​​What is included with the Luxury Dermaplaning?

Before your first Dermaplaning treatment a full and thorough consultation is carried out in order to inform you of what the treatment entails and to establish your skin concerns. Dermaplaning is suitable for all skin types, male and female except those with active pustular acne. Your initial consultation will take around 10mins. Dermaplaning facial takes around 55 minutes and includes a mini facial.
